ABOUT CURTAIN UP CLASSROOM

With more than 30 years of industry experience, I am owner and director of Curtain Up Classroom, a premiere acting studio and theatre that offers classes for all ages, professions and imaginations. The studio was founded from a need for adding creativity in corporate and learning contexts. Creativity is something that must continue through life in order to find success in any area of one’s life. I am dedicated to building the idea of theatre as a collaborative system.

As an educator, performing artist and director, I have not only witnessed but also experienced the magic of theatre—a magic that makes the seemingly impossible become possible. Theatre captures both our hearts and minds, makes us feel and think. Its power lies in the magic of imagination. Children live in the magical world of make-believe—a world that is open to the excitement of exploration and the delight of discovery. That world is open to all of us.

Curtain Up Classroom offers a unique program of classes that taps into the creative process. From preschool to professional, each coaching session is approached as a method of releasing that magic of imagination, and with it, innovation and inspiration.
