GETTING YOUR ACT TOGETHER

LITTLE ACTORS (AGES 6 TO 11)SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16
FROM PAGE TO STAGE (ages 6-8)Description: Children are engaged in the art of pantomime while acting out classic fairy tales and an original fairy tale of their own. Time: 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. Tuition: $35. (limited enrollment) SKITS AND SKETCHES (ages 9-11)Description:
Students perform skits and sketches using props and costuming. Students
will also have the opportunity to create their own original skits. Time: 11:00 - 11:45 a.m. Tuition: $35. (limited enrollment)
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13
PUPPET THEATRE (ages 6-8)Description: Children learn to create character voices and perform their own little puppet show. Time: 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. Tuition: $35. (limited enrollment) SHOWTIME (ages 9-11)Description: Students learn to use the art of improvisation in creating characters for the stage. Time: 11:00 - 11:45 a.m. Tuition: $35. (limited enrollment)

ADULT-LEVELCREATING A CHARACTER
Description:
A "fundamentals of acting" class for both the beginner and advanced
student. Improvisation, text analysis and acting techniques are
incorporated in this scene-study class. (six-week session) When: Each Thursday, October 7 to November 18 (no class the week of Nov. 1)
Time: 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Tuition: $170.
AUDITION TECHNIQUE
Description:
A class for the beginning actor and the working actor. The class
includes selecting the appropriate monologue, text analysis, the
dialogue-monologue connection, proper eye-placement techniques and
a critique of the performance. When: Saturday, October 16, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Tuition: $90.
