NOTES + POLICIES
- All classes include an annual nonrefundable $25 registration fee.

- Students must be registered and tuition received before the first class. A $20 late-payment fee will be added to any student attending a class without prior payment.

- Students must call if they are to be absent from a class.
There are no make-up classes.

 

YOUTH-LEVEL CLASSES + COACHING

PRIVATE COACHING
Audition technique, public speaking, communication skills, etc. Private coaching sessions are available year-round and can be tailored to fit your specific needs.
TUITION: $50/half-hour.
3-session minimum required.

IMPROV AND BEYOND [high-school]
Creating characters and scenarios using improvisation and introducing voice techniques and body movement. High-school-level class. Six-week session.
TUITION: $90 (or $150 for both sessions)
Session 1 Dates:
Wednesdays, January 10 to February 15. 5:35 - 6:35 p.m.
Session 2 Dates: Wednesdays, February 22 to April 11. 5:35 - 6:35 p.m.

 

GETTING YOUR ACT TOGETHER [jr. high]
Introducing acting fundamentals using theatre games, improvisation and short scene work. Jr.-high-level class. Six-week session.
TUITION: $90 (or $150 for both sessions)
Session 1 Dates: Wednesdays, January 10 to February 15. 4:45 - 5:35 p.m.
Session 2 Dates: Wednesdays, February 22 to April 11. 4:45 - 5:35 p.m.

 

 

FROM THE PAGE TO THE STAGE [ages 6-8]
This class allows children to enter a world of creativity and imagination. Pantomime, puppetry, storytelling, skits and fairy tales are incorporated with basic acting skills. Ages 6-8. Six-week session.
TUITION: $90 (or $150 for both sessions)
Session 1 Dates: Tuesdays, January 9 to February 14. 4:00 - 4:45 p.m.
Session 2 Dates: Tuesdays, February 21 to April 10. 4:00 - 4:45 p.m.

 

SKITS AND SKETCHES [ages 9-11]
Basic acting skills along with theatre games, lip-syncs, improvisation, melodrama and skits encourage students to explore the many facets of theatre. Ages 9-11. Six-week session.
TUITION: $90 (or $150 for both sessions)
Session 1 Dates: Tuesdays, January 9 to February 14. 4:50 - 5:35 p.m.
Session 2 Dates: Tuesdays, February 21 to April 10. 4:50 - 5:35 p.m.

ADULT-LEVEL CLASSES / WORKSHOPS

PRIVATE COACHING

TUITION: $85/hour.
3-session minimum required.

CREATING A CHARACTER
A "fundamentals of acting" class for both the beginner and advanced student. Improvisation, text analysis and acting techniques are incorporated in this scene-study class. Six-week session.
TUITION: $170, or $300 for both sessions
Session 1 Dates:
Thursdays, January 11 to February 16. 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Session 2 Dates:
Thursdays, February 23 to April 12. 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

AUDITION TECHNIQUE
A class for the beginning actor and the working actor. The class includes selecting the appropriate monologue, text analysis, the dialogue-monologue connection, proper eye-placement techniques and a critique of the performance. ONE-TIME SESSION.
